On the occasion of International Literacy Day 2025, a prestigious ceremony was held at Indus Hotel Hyderabad, where Commissioner Hyderabad Fayaz Abbasi and Director Non-Formal Education Abdul Jabbar Mari presented an award to Mr. Rauf Chandio, Chairman of the Free Journalist Foundation (FJF), in recognition of his outstanding educational services.
This honor highlights Mr. Chandio’s lifelong commitment to providing free and quality education to underprivileged communities. Under his visionary leadership, FJF has established multiple schools and learning centers across Sindh, opening the doors of learning for hundreds of children and youth who otherwise had no access to education.
The award, presented on International Literacy Day, is not only a personal achievement for Mr. Chandio but also a tribute to FJF’s mission of promoting literacy, empowerment, and social change through education.
